Try Garage AI is developed and maintained by MAMIN Boubaker, an independent developer operating under the brand Mamin Labs. The official website is trygarage.maminlabs.com, a subdomain of maminlabs.com, both personally owned and managed by MAMIN Boubaker. This Privacy Policy explains how data is collected, used, and protected. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

Data We Collect

2.1 — Automatically Collected Data

• Anonymous device identifier — random ID, not personally identifiable
• App & engine version — App version and Unity engine version
• Device info — device model and OS version
• Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage events
• Crash reports — if enabled in settings

2.2 — User-Provided Data

• Car photos — uploaded or captured via system camera intent
• AI transformation requests — processed in real-time, not stored
• Support messages — sent via your own email client

2.3 — Transaction Data

• Pixels balance & history — stored anonymously in Firebase
• Purchase receipts — from Google Play Billing

Each third-party service is subject to its own privacy policy and data handling terms.

4.2 — Official Website & In-App Links

The App may include links to our official website for technical support, documentation, or informational purposes. All links within the App are intentional and serve only technical or informational purposes; no in-app links are used for advertising or affiliate promotions.

Our official website at maminlabs.com and its subdomains may independently contain informational or commercial content. Such content is entirely separate from the App and has no effect on the App’s data practices.

4.3 — Analytics Opt-Out

Firebase Analytics collects anonymous usage data to help us improve the App. Users may limit analytics data collection by adjusting their device’s advertising settings or by opting out where applicable through their device’s privacy controls (e.g., “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on Android).

Data Retention

• Vehicle photos — processed temporarily, deleted immediately after generation
• Pixels transactions — stored for 3 years for internal accounting purposes
• Analytics data — retained for up to 26 months per Firebase defaults

Security

We use TLS encryption for all data in transit, hashed identifiers for anonymous tracking, and secure Firebase security rules to restrict database access. No unencrypted personal data is stored on our servers.

Children & Content Safety

7.1 — AI Content Safety

The App's AI is designed exclusively to generate vehicle-related imagery (paint styles, tires, accessories). Our system enforces strict content filtering and abuse detection that blocks all inappropriate, adult, violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable visual content. No free-form text prompts are accepted — all AI outputs are constrained to safe, vehicle-focused transformations.

User Rights

Because all data is stored anonymously under a random device identifier, we cannot link any data to a real-world identity. You have the right to request deletion of all anonymous data associated with your device.

8.1 — In-App Data Deletion (Recommended)

• Open Settings — Go to Settings inside the App
• Tap "Delete My Data" — This will permanently erase all data associated with your anonymous Device ID, including your Pixels balance, transaction history, and analytics data
• Confirmation — You will be asked to confirm before deletion proceeds. Once confirmed, the process is immediate and irreversible

8.2 — Email Deletion Request (Alternative)

• Find your Device ID — Open the App and go to your Profile section. Your unique Device ID is displayed at the top of that screen with a Copy button next to it — tap it to copy your ID to the clipboard
• Submit your request — Tap the Assistance Center button in the App or email trygarage_support@maminlabs.com directly with your Device ID
• What gets deleted — Your anonymous Device ID, Pixels transaction history, and all analytics data linked to that ID will be permanently removed
• Processing time — All email deletion requests are processed within 30 days of receipt. You will receive a confirmation reply once the deletion is complete

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are published at this URL constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

GDPR — European Users

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable local data protection laws may apply to your use of the App.

10.1 — Lawful Basis for Processing

• Legitimate interests — anonymous analytics data is processed to improve app performance and detect abuse
• Contractual necessity — Pixels transaction data is processed to maintain your balance and fulfill purchases

10.2 — Your GDPR Rights

• Right to access — request information about data associated with your anonymous device identifier
• Right to erasure — request full deletion within 30 days (see §08 for how to submit a request via email)
• Right to restriction — request that processing be paused while a deletion or objection request is pending
• Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time

10.3 — International Data Transfers

Our services rely on Google Firebase and Google Gemini AI, both operated by Google LLC. Google processes data in accordance with Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and its own GDPR-compliant Data Processing Agreements, ensuring lawful cross-border data transfers under GDPR Chapter V.
